Unlike other signs this one combines the function of the letter and the symbol. "Theta" is the eighth letter of the Greek alphabet. It helps to indicate [https://unicode-table.com/en/1F321/ temperatures] and to mark zenith [https://unicode-table.com/en/2220/ angle]. The sign is also used in electrical engineering, theory of strength of materials and other disciplines.
It is obvious that this sign is highly necessary, so it can be typed from a keyboard very easily. Its indication in Unicode is U+03F4. But you don't have to memorize it because it is already included in Arial and Times New Roman fonts.
