This symbol is used in map legends, IQ measurement tests, and textual graphics.
Firstly, a square with diagonal stripes going down from the top left to the bottom right is used to indicate deposits of lignite coal in geographic map legends.
On clothing labels, you may come across a symbol that resembles a square with top-right and bottom-left fill. It is a square with left-to-right diagonal hatching, but only near the top left corner. This symbol indicates that the item should be dried in the shade.
Finally, a square with left-to-right stripes is placed at the beginning and end of chapter or section titles, or [URL /en/tools/nickname-generator/ usernames]. With this symbol, you can create graphical combinations to decorate articles or posts on websites or social media, as well as a line to separate different sections or chapters of text.
