A snowflake is a symbol of winter, cold, New Year and Christmas holidays. Symbol U+2745 depicts an ordinary snowflake, the six rays of which are connected with geometrical angles. The drawing is done with a black line, which looks light, delicate and precise.
Dingbat U+2745 is appropriate in posts and creatives on winter-holidays-related topics. It's also featured in ornament sets, where you can use it in combination with other snowflakes found in Unicode. For example, this heavy chevron snowflake [U:2746].
